Story
"Star Trek: Below Decks" focuses on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s most underrated ships, the USS Cerritos, in the year 2380. Midshipmen Mariner, Boehmler, Rutherford and Tandy must juggle their duties and social lives, often while the ship is rocked by a host of science fiction anomalies. The ship’s bridge crew includes Captain Carol Freeman, Commander Jack Ransom, Lieutenant Shax and Doctor T’Ana. It is the second animated spin-off of the franchise following Star Trek: The Animated Series from 1973-74, but it has a decidedly more mature tone and humor.
