Followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025)
I have to start this review by saying how much I loved Dexter. I loved it so much that I watched it multiple times and never got bored.
The endings of both shows were awful, especially Dexter: New Blood
Then came Dexter: New Blood in 2021 and while it wasn’t as good as the original, I still enjoyed it. Now comes Dexter: Original Sin with the origin story of a young Dexter Morgan and how he became everyone’s favorite serial killer.
All 3 are a fun watch
It also brings back the younger version of most of the original characters. I don’t know how they keep doing it, but none of the Dexter characters disappoint.

Story

This show is perfect for kids
Featured in AniMat's Crazy Cartoon Cast: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). Don't listen to the cranky millennials and Gen x reviewing the show.
I haven't liked much star wars stuff Disney has put out lately
80s vibe like stranger things, has mystery, adventure, pirates, everything kids will love! The adult main character (I think he will be the main character) is one of my favorite actors. He's never let me down before, I'm sure it's going to be great! To be honest, this is a refreshing change.
Andor was good
And I'm not sure whatever happened to the mandolirian. The show makes be feel like a kid again and I hope it only gets better..

"One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
Brazil, 1971: A country under the tightening grip of a military dictatorship. A mother is forced to reinvent herself when her family’s life is shattered by indiscriminate violence. Based on the best-selling memoir by Marcelo Rubens Paiva.
A nuclear bomb detonates in Los Angeles, plunging the nation into unprecedented chaos. Former Green Beret Jeff Eriksson and his family flee to The Homestead, an eccentric logging fortress nestled in the mountains. As violent threats and apocalyptic conditions approach their borders, the Homesteaders are left wondering: how long can a group of people withstand both the dangers of human nature and the bloodshed on their doorstep?
A group of supervillains are recruited to go on missions for the government. Steven Yeun was originally cast as Robert Reynolds/Sentinel, but after filming was delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes (2023), Yeun dropped out due to scheduling conflicts and was later replaced by Lewis Pullman. He later expressed his disappointment at not being able to make the film and hopes to be cast in another Marvel film. Featured in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: D23 Expo 2022 Special (2022)
The story tells about a team of military superhumans, consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster and a gorgon. Gunn later greenlit the project when he became CEO of DC Studios. The screenwriter and creator of the series, James Gunn, is typing the script on a laptop in the first credits.

. Featured in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon: Return of the King (of the Hill) (2023). I’ve always loved the DC universe, and while I think the DCEU is overrated, I’ve been very disappointed with several DCEU projects.
The series has wonderful characters and is extremely creative
I think when James Gunn says that movies and television about superheroes have become too common, he is generally correct. There have been so many superhero movies in the last decade that people don’t go to the theaters when a new movie comes out because they think it’s “yet another superhero movie, that’s too much.” These are all the same, ordinary action movies (especially the sequels). I think James Gunn is really going to make a difference, and I can’t wait.
“One hundred years of loneliness”; One of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of the month
As Marvel becomes more and more popular, I think there are a lot of great characters in DC that are being overlooked (by fans) and lesser known characters if things go well for DC in the next few years. As long as they attract people’s attention and feel special, they can do well at the box office. But yes, it was an excellent beginning, and I see that from this moment on it only gets better..
