Tulsa King delivers
Stallone hits the mark with a brooding, no-nonsense performance that blends humor and violence to perfection. The classic fish-out-of-water scenario is well-played. And the first episode does a great job of setting up what appears to be a stellar cast.
Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised
Right from the start, the plot begins to weave. We’ll see how the season plays out, but so far, it’s been a big change of pace from some of the other shows that have come out lately. There’s no CGI, that’s for sure.
Just great characters, authentic dialogue, a smart story, and a first-class cast
